Wyatt... Meet Sweet Potatoes...

Even though the introduction between Wy and baby food took place last week, I was just able to get the pictures on the computer and ready to go... hence why it's a little past the reality of it all... It was a fun and hysterical half hour to get to witness... Wy was so hungry so we decided to see how he'd do with food... Kev got to do the honors since I fed D for the first time.

It was a good time, another memory to chalk off as a great experience :)

...Dax and Chelsea's Baking Hour...

There are many job titles that Kevin and I have thought that Dax could one day choose as an occupation... and now we have a new one to add to that list... Chef.

Thanks to Miss Chelsea, D discovered a whole new world... yes, he has "helped" me cook before, well if you can call what I do cooking ;) but this time around he was making something fun and sweet... PLUS he actually got to play in what he was concocting... when the powder got on his hand he nervously said "clean it Mommy" (he gets that from me... I couldn't and still can't stand my hands being dirty) but when he learned how to dip his finger in the chocolate mixture and then got to eat it... it was a little hard to get him away from it... that too he gets from me... I LOVE the brownie dough... I could eat the entire thing... and that's precisely why I knew we needed to keep the taste testing to a minimum :)

He was so serious the entire time... he was definitely taking in every second so that the next time baking took place, he could, yet again, be the right hand man :)

I remember when me and my brother Trace would be sitting in the very back seat of the Astro Van (or the "toaster" as we liked to call it) and yelling up to our Mom asking "Mom... when Kael is 17 (he is now 19) how old will I be" and "Mom... when Camren graduates... how old will I be..." I distinctly remember her saying "you guys can figure that one out"... after counting with our fingers we came to the numbers of the ever so FAR away ages of 25 and 26... YIKES!!! That is so OLD... I will never be that old......

Well... here we are... Camren's graduation has come and gone and here I sit with one child screaming at me because my attention isn't completely on him and the other asking to watch "the elephant" (Ice Age) for the second time.... :)

Life is good... I'm old... but good....

Camren, we love you and we are SO excited for all that you have ahead of you. For some reason, since your graduation, the "Jack and Diane" song has come to mind... well this part of it...

"Hold on to 16 (or 18 in your case) as long as you can

remember this time and make great memories but also look to the future with excitement... you have SO much good that is in your future and SO many people to meet and love :) You've always been the life of the party... never lose that... keep that fun personality it makes you you and it's one of the MANY great things about you!!! Thanks for being such a great brother and especially the great example you are to our boys... you are THE BEST and we LOVE and adore you!!!
