I was thrown completely off and since Monday's are my cleaning days, I got caught up in getting that taken care of rather than recognizing the fact that Dax hadn't eaten breakfast.
Hurriedly, about an hour and a half after his usual eating time, I asked D to come and get something to eat... our daily breakfast routine is me listing off EVERY single item that we have in the house that he could possibly eat for breakfast with the hope that he will find something on that list intriguing and at least spark his interest enough so he'll name it, I'll make it...and we'll just see if he'll eat it. If not, at least I feel better knowing I've done my job as a mom trying to get something in front of him. That's sometimes all he permits.:)
Today he chose toast. As I was getting the bread out I noticed him go over to Wyatt, who was sitting in his Bumbo, and say... "Hey buddy, baby want toast?" proceeded to pick up Wyatt's nini (binki) and shake it for him... as if it were a toy that would make him happy.

These picture depict that moment. They may not be the most beautiful pictures to anyone, but to me they are priceless... Dax is coming into the brotherly love phase and actually finding that having a brother, isn't so bad.
